Recovery Technician

Responsibilities

• Attend to the safety and wellbeing of patients and monitor activities and behaviors
• Communicate significant observations to clinical staff and maintain accurate daily logs
• Maintain daily schedules including transport, meal times, and transition times
• Facilitate recreational outings and assist with activity and education group sessions
• Ensure facility cleanliness and assist with patient orientation and discharge planning
• Utilize de-escalation skills to maintain safety during volatile situations
• Oversee safe and efficient transport of patients to and from facilities

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• 1+ year of relevant work experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and build rapport with patients
• Ability to organize and prioritize competing demands

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with de-escalation techniques
• Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Experience handling confidential material and sensitive situations
