Recovery Technician

Responsibilities

• Interact routinely with patients, observe behaviors, and communicate significant observations to clinical staff
• Maintain daily schedules and structure, including transport, meal, and transition times
• Provide patient observation rounds and consistent monitoring of activities and behaviors
• Facilitate and assist with selected activity and education group sessions
• Oversee and manage the safe and efficient transport of patients to and from facilities
• Utilize de-escalation skills to maintain safety for clients and staff
• Assist with treatment planning, discharge planning, and new admission orientations
• Ensure facility cleanliness and upkeep under leadership direction

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• 1+ year of relevant work experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and build rapport with patients
• Ability to organize and prioritize competing demands

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with de-escalation techniques
• Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Experience handling confidential material
