Records & Transcript Analyst

Responsibilities

• Process official academic transcript requests in accordance with institutional policy and FERPA regulations
• Verify student identity, academic history, and degree posting prior to transcript release
• Maintain and update enrollment verifications both electronically and in paper form
• Ensure the accuracy of student records within the Student Information System (SIS)
• Scan, link, and retrieve documents and reports using the Perceptive Content database
• Provide professional customer service to students, alumni, faculty, and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with Admissions, Financial Aid, and Academic Affairs to resolve record discrepancies
• Support the Records Management Coordinator with records retention schedules and graduation events

Requirements

• Associate Degree or a minimum of 30 college-level credits
• 1-3 years of office experience, preferably in a higher education environment
• Proficiency with standard office software and database systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle highly confidential information
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution
• Previous experience utilizing Ellucian Colleague student module
• Experience with Perceptive Content imaging system
