Associate’s Degree or 3-5 years experience in Records/Registration, 3-5 years Degree Works scribing experience, Proficiency in Banner, OnBase, and Degree Works, Knowledge of Federal and State records regulations
About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary scribe for the Banner Degree Works degree auditing system
- Manage student record requests including enrollment and degree verification via email, phone, or in-person
- Implement approved changes to the student information system and manage degree progress communications
- Oversee user access, roles, and maintenance for Degree Works
- Collaborate with campus partners to maintain accurate degree plans and resolve audit issues
- Provide technical support and training materials for Degree Works to faculty and students
- Maintain student academic records in compliance with College, State, and Federal guidelines
- Assist with transfer credit evaluation, end-of-term processing, and diploma distribution
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree or 3-5 years of experience in a Records and Registration environment
- 3-5 years of experience with Degree Works scribing
- Proficiency with Banner, OnBase, and Degree Works
- Strong understanding of Federal and State regulations related to records management
- Excellent computer skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of records
