Associate’s Degree or 3-5 years experience in Records/Registration, 3-5 years Degree Works scribing experience, Proficiency in Banner, OnBase, and Degree Works, Knowledge of Federal and State records regulations

About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary scribe for the Banner Degree Works degree auditing system
  • Manage student record requests including enrollment and degree verification via email, phone, or in-person
  • Implement approved changes to the student information system and manage degree progress communications
  • Oversee user access, roles, and maintenance for Degree Works
  • Collaborate with campus partners to maintain accurate degree plans and resolve audit issues
  • Provide technical support and training materials for Degree Works to faculty and students
  • Maintain student academic records in compliance with College, State, and Federal guidelines
  • Assist with transfer credit evaluation, end-of-term processing, and diploma distribution

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree or 3-5 years of experience in a Records and Registration environment
  • 3-5 years of experience with Degree Works scribing
  • Proficiency with Banner, OnBase, and Degree Works
  • Strong understanding of Federal and State regulations related to records management
  • Excellent computer skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of records
