Reconstruction Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of large reconstruction projects for residential properties damaged by fire and flooding
• Develop detailed project plans including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
• Act as primary point of contact for homeowners, insurance adjusters, and subcontractors
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and internal crews
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
• Prepare documentation including work orders, permitting, and insurance claims paperwork
• Negotiate with insurance companies to secure approvals for scope of work and funding
• Resolve conflicts or delays proactively to keep projects on track

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in restoration or construction
• Experience with large residential and commercial fire and flood damage projects
• Proven track record working with insurance companies and homeowners
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and building codes
• Proficiency in Xactimate, CoreLogic, or similar estimating software
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites
• Ability to pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications

• IICRC certification
• OSHA certification
