About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide a professional and efficient welcome to all guests
  • Manage guest check-in and check-out services, ensuring all registration details are updated in the system
  • Handle reservations, room changes, and guest requests promptly and professionally
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Front Office and surrounding areas
  • Process payments, handle cash, and manage currency exchanges for in-house guests
  • Coordinate with the housekeeping department regarding room status and special requests
  • Monitor the log book and handover notes to ensure seamless service continuity
  • Address guest complaints appropriately and escalate to management when necessary
  • Promote high-rated rooms and stay informed about current hotel rates, packages, and promotions

Requirements

  • Proven experience in front office operations or a similar hospitality role
  • Proficiency with Front Office systems and reservation management software
  • Strong cash handling skills and attention to detail regarding billing
  • Ability to adhere to professional hotel grooming and hygiene standards
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and fire regulations in a hospitality environment
