About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide a professional and efficient welcome to all guests
- Manage guest check-in and check-out services, ensuring all registration details are updated in the system
- Handle reservations, room changes, and guest requests promptly and professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Front Office and surrounding areas
- Process payments, handle cash, and manage currency exchanges for in-house guests
- Coordinate with the housekeeping department regarding room status and special requests
- Monitor the log book and handover notes to ensure seamless service continuity
- Address guest complaints appropriately and escalate to management when necessary
- Promote high-rated rooms and stay informed about current hotel rates, packages, and promotions
Requirements
- Proven experience in front office operations or a similar hospitality role
- Proficiency with Front Office systems and reservation management software
- Strong cash handling skills and attention to detail regarding billing
- Ability to adhere to professional hotel grooming and hygiene standards
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members
- Knowledge of health, safety, and fire regulations in a hospitality environment
