About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage the front desk and lobby area, welcoming employees, visitors, and board members
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls and general inquiries
  • Support daily office operations including mail distribution and document management
  • Track receipts and invoices for the Accounting team
  • Coordinate with building management, facilities teams, and external vendors
  • Order and organize office supplies, pantry items, and kitchen inventory
  • Maintain conference room calendars and prepare rooms for meetings
  • Provide logistical support for internal meetings and company-wide events

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Undergraduate degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work onsite five days per week
  • Use of a personal vehicle for inter-office travel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a biotech or life sciences environment
  • Experience in a fast-paced corporate setting
