About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide a professional reception service and ensure excellent patient care
- Create a welcoming environment for patients
- Use Software of Excellence to maintain accurate patient records
- Answer telephones, make appointments, and collect patient charges
- Maintain reception cleanliness standards
- Manage appointment books to maximize surgery utilization and clinician productivity
- Ensure compliance with health and safety guidance
Requirements
- Proven track record in a customer or patient-focused reception environment
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Enthusiastic with an appetite to learn and develop new skills
- Experience in a general practice environment is desirable
