Reception Manager/Veterinary Assistant

Responsibilities

• Lead the reception and patient registration area
• Act as the primary point of contact for pet owners and handle initial medical inquiries
• Manage patient intake and reception on-site
• Handle the dispensing of medications
• Issue invoices for treatments and administrative tasks
• Manage cash handling in cooperation with the accounting department

Requirements

• Commercial or service-oriented vocational training
• Previous professional experience in a similar position
• Strong communication skills with a friendly, empathetic, and helpful demeanor
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Fluency in German (English skills are an advantage)
• Interest in veterinary medicine

Preferred Qualifications

• Medical training or completed training as a Veterinary Assistant (TFA)
• Previous leadership or management experience
