Receiving Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the Receiving Department team to ensure accurate and timely processing of all inbound freight
• Supervise receiving associates, monitor productivity, and provide coaching to meet departmental KPIs
• Manage inbound shipping documentation and ensure compliance with vendor and routing requirements
• Receive and enter purchase orders accurately into the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Oversee the processing of e-commerce and wholesale returns and manage value-added service (VAS) projects
• Serve as a primary safety contact during morning operations and participate in the site Safety Team
• Allocate workload based on volume and priority while maintaining high housekeeping standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or lead experience in receiving functions within a large distribution center
• Proven experience in freight coordination and inbound supply chain processes
• Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong leadership, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree
• Demonstrated previous performance at the Receiving Associate or Receiving Clerk level
• Working knowledge of international shipping documentation and product classification
