Receiving Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Uphold and enforce safety protocols related to receiving operations
• Conduct regular safety training sessions and inspections
• Coordinate inbound deliveries with inventory, production, and logistics teams
• Maintain accurate records of received shipments, quantities, and discrepancies
• Identify and mitigate risks such as shortages, late deliveries, and temperature discrepancies
• Lead and develop a team of Receiving Associates
• Evaluate and enhance receiving processes to improve warehouse efficiency

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for operating plants
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and delegate effectively
• Experience training others on new processes or procedural updates
• Aptitude for equipment operation and troubleshooting
• Strong leadership, team building, and people management skills
• Excellent conflict-resolution and decision-making abilities
