Receiving Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage daily inbound warehouse workflows, including collecting documents for billing and vendor payments
• Operate powered industrial trucks, such as forklifts and cherry pickers, following all safety protocols
• Load and unload shipments from carrier trailers and containers
• Verify the accuracy of physical goods against receiving documents like bills of lading
• Inspect incoming products for quality and report any damages to management
• Support inventory control through replenishment, put-aways, picking, and returns processing
• Maintain accurate documentation for all put-away and replenishment activities
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Requirements

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• 6 months to 1 year of warehouse or distribution experience
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform frequent bending, standing, and walking
• Proficiency in basic math and organizational skills
• Ability to operate forklifts and cherry pickers
• Experience with WMS and Inventory Control applications (Oracle experience preferred)
• Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) gun technology

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle WMS applications
• Knowledge of RF gun navigation and task management
