Receiving Lead

Responsibilities

• Execute daily inbound management processes including receiving, inspection, returns, and replenishment
• Supervise and delegate duties to warehouse staff to ensure tasks are performed correctly and safely
• Plan workloads and staffing levels to optimize the inbound management process
• Oversee the unloading of shipments and the confirmation of physical goods to ensure receipt accuracy
• Monitor the inspection process to determine the quality of received products
• Maintain inventory accuracy through best-in-class management practices
• Operate various Powered Industrial Trucks, such as forklifts and cherry pickers
• Train and educate warehouse staff on proper inbound processes and company policies
• Assist in resolving receiving discrepancies and performing root cause analysis on damaged products

Requirements

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• 1+ year of experience in a complex warehouse or distribution environment preferred
• Working knowledge of WMS and Inventory Control Applications (Oracle experience preferred)
• Proficiency with Radio Frequency (RF) gun technology and task management
• Supervisory experience in training, coaching, and motivating a fast-paced team
• Ability to operate Powered Industrial Trucks
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC desktop usage
