Receiving Lead

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily receiving tasks and ensure safe completion of all department functions
• Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) such as forklifts and pallet jacks to unload and inspect inbound trailers
• Verify quantity, quality, and integrity of received products; report discrepancies or damages
• Coordinate product flow from receiving to designated storage locations across warehouse departments
• Maintain accurate records of received shipments, product details, and quantities
• Coach and train team members on workflow optimization and safety regulations

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Comfort working in a refrigerated environment (36 degrees)
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive standing, squatting, kneeling, and bending
• Willingness to work overtime and/or weekends based on business needs

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Experience working in a food-based environment
