Receiving Lead

Responsibilities

• Set workload volume to maximize equipment and manpower usage for consistent workflow
• Train new employees and cross-train existing staff on departmental tasks
• Communicate daily workflow requirements as planned by the supervisor
• Provide feedback regarding procedure changes, safety concerns, or equipment needs
• Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, swing reach, and order pickers
• Physically move truck parts using proper equipment or by hand
• Assist the supervisor in overseeing all departmental activities
• Utilize D-View, SAP, Cognos, and Microsoft Office to support operations

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an automated warehouse environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead by example within an empowered team
• Proficiency in operating material handling equipment
• Excellent basic arithmetic skills
• Familiarity with D-View warehouse management systems
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
• Comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations and safety requirements
• Ability to work flexible hours based on coverage requirements
