Receiving Clerk

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect all incoming goods, materials, and supplies from vendors to ensure they meet quality and operational standards.
• Verify deliveries against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes to ensure accuracy in quantity and specification.
• Record and process all received items accurately within the inventory, procurement, or finance systems.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Finance departments to resolve delivery discrepancies, shortages, or quality concerns.
• Maintain accurate receiving logs and documentation for audit and inventory control purposes.
• Organize the movement of goods to designated storage areas, ensuring proper stock rotation and handling of temperature-sensitive items.
• Support inventory management activities, including stock counts, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the receiving and loading areas.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Receiving Clerk, Storekeeper, or Inventory Clerk within a luxury hotel or resort environment.
• Strong knowledge of receiving procedures, inventory control, and procurement processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with inventory management or ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies quickly.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Understanding of food safety, storage standards, and inventory best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-end luxury hospitality setting.
