Receiving Associate

Responsibilities

• Unload cartons from trailers and anchor them to pallets for staging
• Accurately scan pallets to designated staging areas or locations
• Utilize warehouse management systems to perform selective tasks
• Assist in maintaining safety and housekeeping in assigned work areas
• Report any work area problems to appropriate personnel in a timely manner
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and preferred work methods
• Maintain high levels of accuracy, quality, and organizational detail

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to use a manual pallet jack
• Ability to work 10 or 12 hour shifts
• Ability to read fine print for extended periods
• Average hand, eye, and foot coordination
• Ability to perform physical tasks including balancing, stooping, climbing, and reaching
• Ability to work in a role with precise tolerances and standards
