Realty Specialist

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical authority on real property acquisition, leasing, and portfolio management for the Department of State.
• Develop and evaluate policies, methods, and guidance for real estate actions.
• Assist in the planning and administration of projects involving acquisition, construction, renovation, and management of real property.
• Act as a principal liaison with GSA, military branches, state/local governments, and private-sector partners.
• Prepare high-value technical documentation including prospectuses, use permits, licenses, and housing plans.
• Prepare rent estimates and maintain leasing documentation within the Archibus system of record.
• Advise senior leadership on complex real estate issues and strategic planning.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "Secret" security clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Eight (8) years of experience working in or with the General Services Administration (GSA).
• Proficiency with GSA systems including Rent on Web, OAsis, and eRETA.

Preferred Qualifications

• An active and maintained "Secret" Federal or DoD security clearance.
• Experience supporting or working with the Department of State’s domestic real estate portfolio.
