Realty Representative

Responsibilities

• Performs, coordinates, or leads activities of title abstracting, appraising, and negotiating on assigned projects
• Conducts in-house land rights analysis using TVA records and reports project status to program managers
• Researches, writes, and reviews reports of value, title condition, and negotiation status
• Recommends solutions to complex problems during the purchase and sale of realty rights
• Represents Realty Assets at public open-house meetings regarding acquiring or disposing of realty rights
• Performs and coordinates relocation activities related to the acquisition of real property improvements
• Reads and interprets topographic, tax, reservoir, and engineering maps
• Manages critical path project dates for assigned responsibilities

Requirements

• Knowledge of public acquisition processes for corridor easement development and fee-simple site assemblage
• Knowledge of engineering principles used during planning and surveying
• Valid motor vehicle driver license
• Ability to be bondable and obtain a Notary Public commission
• Ability to travel the seven-state service region

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified General appraisal license
• SR/WA designation
• CCIM designation
• BBA in Real Estate or related course of study
