Real Estate Research Analyst

Responsibilities

• Establish and communicate semi-annual strategic views for the US real estate market for internal audiences
• Originate and author approximately four white papers per year to drive thought leadership
• Manage regular business, market, and fund reporting requirements specifically for US real estate
• Grow the external profile of the US business through written reports and external presentations
• Collaborate with the global research team to add value to global real estate views and strategic projects
• Use qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret data and drive strategic investment recommendations

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in an economics or financial discipline
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in real estate or financial research
• Strong analytical mindset with a high level of numeracy
• Proficiency in Excel, report writing, and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in AI techniques to drive workload efficiency
• Practical understanding of real estate investment and occupational markets and their drivers
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage colleagues and clients of varying seniority

Preferred Qualifications

• Good awareness of the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) context of investing and its relation to real estate
