About the role
Responsibilities
- Establish and communicate semi-annual strategic views for the US real estate market for internal audiences
- Originate and author approximately four white papers per year to drive thought leadership
- Manage regular business, market, and fund reporting requirements specifically for US real estate
- Grow the external profile of the US business through written reports and external presentations
- Collaborate with the global research team to add value to global real estate views and strategic projects
- Use qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret data and drive strategic investment recommendations
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in an economics or financial discipline
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in real estate or financial research
- Strong analytical mindset with a high level of numeracy
- Proficiency in Excel, report writing, and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in AI techniques to drive workload efficiency
- Practical understanding of real estate investment and occupational markets and their drivers
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage colleagues and clients of varying seniority
Preferred Qualifications
- Good awareness of the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) context of investing and its relation to real estate
