Real Estate Asset Manager

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement value-add and sustainability enhancement strategies for a portfolio of office, retail, light industrial, and logistics properties.
• Coordinate asset refurbishment and repositioning projects, including redevelopment work and energy-saving initiatives.
• Manage leasing activities, including rental agreement negotiations, tenant fit-outs, and proactive roll-over management.
• Develop and implement individual sustainability measures to improve Green Building Certifications (e.g., BREEAM), EPCs, and Net Zero carbon pathways.
• Oversee third-party advisors, including property managers, technical consultants, architects, and legal teams.
• Draft and update business plans, performing cash flow and profitability analyses to support leasing and capital expenditure decisions.
• Support the investment lifecycle by providing technical and ESG input during the acquisition underwriting and disposition processes.
• Monitor project budgets, review service charge reconciliations, and prepare asset reports for boards and finance partners.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial real estate asset management experience specifically within the Netherlands.
• Hands-on experience planning or coordinating asset refurbishment or repositioning projects.
• Strong understanding of lease structures and market practices across various commercial sectors.
• Familiarity with sustainability concepts such as Net Zero Carbon Pathway, EPC, and Green Building certificates.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with YARDI or ARGUS Enterprise is highly advantageous.
• Native or fluent proficiency in Dutch.
• Strong command of English; proficiency in French is preferred.
• Ability to manage multi-disciplinary project teams independently with a methodical, hands-on approach.
