Reactor Operator

Responsibilities

• Safely produce batch adhesives and oligomer formulations according to work instructions and SOPs
• Operate industrial mixing and powerlifting equipment, including lift trucks, power jacks, and drum dollies
• Manage raw materials and WIP by transferring items between delivery, warehouse, and reactor workstations
• Maintain a safe and clean workplace by following SDS, EH&S, and HazMat requirements and using appropriate PPE
• Execute inventory management best practices, including first-in-first-out controls and precise recording of transactions
• Utilize ERP systems to maintain accurate records and execute electronic transfers
• Investigate and identify sources of quality errors to implement continuous improvement protocols

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of experience in material processing, batch formulations, or chemical manufacturing
• Proficiency in Inventory Management software and Microsoft Office
• Strong mathematical and organizational skills
• Ability to lift and carry weights up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after initial training

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced credential or degree
• Hazwoper training
