React Native Lead Engineer

Tech XR Innovations was founded in 2021 to bridge the gap between hardware/technology requirements and untapped talent in India. The company has developed patented custom hardware to enable affordable access to Augmented, Virtual, and Mixed Reality content.

Responsibilities

• Build and own features on a live production React Native (Expo) app
• Implement and maintain payment and subscription flows using Razorpay and in-app purchases
• Work with Firebase services including Auth, Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics, and Cloud Functions
• Handle video streaming and live content using react-native-video
• Manage app state with Redux Toolkit and redux-persist
• Implement smooth animations using Reanimated and Lottie
• Integrate REST APIs and debug edge cases end-to-end
• Handle Play Store releases and production deployments

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in mobile engineering
• Strong fundamentals in React Native (Expo managed and bare workflows)
• Proficiency in TypeScript
• Mandatory experience with payment gateway integration (Razorpay or equivalent)
• Experience with Redux Toolkit, redux-persist, and react-redux
• Experience with Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Crashlytics, Cloud Functions)
• Proficiency with React Navigation
• Experience with React Native Reanimated and Gesture Handler
• Experience with REST API integration using Axios
• Knowledge of the Expo ecosystem including notifications, secure store, and file system

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with video streaming or live content
• Unity integration within React Native
• Experience with Mixpanel or similar analytics SDKs
• Native Android build knowledge (Gradle, APK/AAB)
• Experience with patch-package and native module patching
