React JS Lead

Responsibilities

• Translate architectural designs into technical implementation plans.
• Lead the day-to-day execution of features using React, Next.js, and supporting tools.
• Guide and mentor developers on best practices, performance tuning, and design patterns.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI teams, and backend engineers to align on feature scope and delivery timelines.
• Review code and ensure compliance with architectural standards.
• Proactively identify blockers and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve them.
• Ensure adequate test coverage and lead QA/UAT support.
• Coordinate DevOps aspects such as build pipelines (CI/CD) and deployment on Azure or Vercel.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups in an Agile Scrum environment.

Requirements

• 6+ years of front-end development experience, with at least 2+ years in a lead or senior role.
• Proven experience leading small technical teams (4-6 people).
• Strong proficiency in React JS, TypeScript, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with state management tools such as Redux, Context API, or Zustand.
• Experience consuming REST APIs and integrating with backend services.
• Deep understanding of Git, branching strategies, and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with modern testing frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library.
• Working knowledge of CMS platforms (Contentful preferred) and CDN behavior.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and cross-browser solution implementations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Next.js.
• Working knowledge of cloud deployment on platforms like Azure or Vercel.
