React Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop the latest user-facing features using React.js
• Use markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages
• Design a modern highly responsive web-based user interface
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Optimize components for maximum performance across web-capable devices and browsers
• Coordinate with various teams working on distinct layers
• Maintain and improve websites and optimize applications for maximum speed
• Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability
• Write functional requirement documents and guides
• Create quality mockups and prototypes
• Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
• Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years Java/J2EE development
• 5+ years experience with React, Node, or Angular
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Hands-on experience with markup languages (HTML/CSS)
• Experience with RESTful APIs
• Experience with code versioning tools such as Git
• Experience with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, and Hibernate frameworks
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms

Preferred Qualifications

• SQL or PostgreSQL
• Angular UI or related UI frameworks
• Experience with Chef, Maven, or Ansible
• Experience with AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, Elastic Search, Cloud Watch, Kinesis)
• TypeScript
