About the role
Responsibilities
- Support and encourage clients with personal care routines
- Assist with meal preparation while promoting independence
- Help improve mobility and confidence in moving safely
- Support clients with medication routines (where required)
- Encourage access to the community and social activities
- Work collaboratively to achieve individual goals and outcomes
Requirements
- Caring, patient, and encouraging approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for helping people regain independence
- Reliability and flexibility to work across shift patterns
- Previous care experience is helpful but not essential
