About the role
Responsibilities
- Monitor, sustain, and improve manufacturing equipment within a semiconductor fabrication environment
- Collaborate with shift operations, equipment engineers, and vendors to ensure efficient tool performance
- Perform preventative maintenance and identify/resolve safety concerns
- Document hardware and process deviations to prevent recurring functionality problems
- Maintain cleanroom cleanliness and adhere to strict housekeeping protocols
- Lead projects related to equipment maintenance with a focus on scope, schedule, and budget
- Participate in training to enhance understanding of various semiconductor tools
Requirements
- Associate degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Robotics, or a related technical field
- 2 years of experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance, automation, or technical military experience
- 2 years of experience performing preventative maintenance and repair of industrial machinery
- 2 years of experience using mechanical, electronic, and PC/software skills to resolve equipment issues
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (including rotating day/night shifts and overtime as needed)
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, walk several miles per shift, and lift 25–40 lbs occasionally
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in maintaining manufacturing equipment and automation
- 4+ years of experience leading equipment maintenance and improvement projects
- Extensive experience in performing preventative maintenance to minimize industrial system downtime
