RDA/Metrology Equipment Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Monitor, sustain, and improve manufacturing equipment within a semiconductor fabrication environment
• Collaborate with shift operations, equipment engineers, and vendors to ensure efficient tool performance
• Perform preventative maintenance and identify/resolve safety concerns
• Document hardware and process deviations to prevent recurring functionality problems
• Maintain cleanroom cleanliness and adhere to strict housekeeping protocols
• Lead projects related to equipment maintenance with a focus on scope, schedule, and budget
• Participate in training to enhance understanding of various semiconductor tools

Requirements

• Associate degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Robotics, or a related technical field
• 2 years of experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance, automation, or technical military experience
• 2 years of experience performing preventative maintenance and repair of industrial machinery
• 2 years of experience using mechanical, electronic, and PC/software skills to resolve equipment issues
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (including rotating day/night shifts and overtime as needed)
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, walk several miles per shift, and lift 25–40 lbs occasionally

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in maintaining manufacturing equipment and automation
• 4+ years of experience leading equipment maintenance and improvement projects
• Extensive experience in performing preventative maintenance to minimize industrial system downtime
