R&D Writing System Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop next-generation inkjet printers that are robust, reliable, and high-speed.
• Innovate printing architecture and design to meet specific product requirements.
• Develop and analyze mathematical models of printing systems to optimize performance.
• Execute design implementation and conduct performance and reliability testing.
• Drive root cause investigations into system-level failure modes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, quality, marketing, and manufacturing to ensure successful product delivery.
• Support project planning by defining objectives, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Science.
• Strong fundamental knowledge in mechanics, dynamics, and physics.
• Proven programming ability.
• Analytical, innovative, and problem-solving mindset.
• High attention to detail and a naturally curious approach to technical challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python for data crunching, image processing, or AI/ML frameworks.
• Knowledge of computer vision, color science, or imaging techniques.
• Experience with applied AI/ML techniques.
