About the role
Responsibilities
- Design fixtures and lab equipment to support testing needs
- Develop and execute test procedures with detailed documentation
- Perform failure analysis and partner with R&D to troubleshoot root causes
- Manage lab operations including calibration and supplies
- Train teammates on lab procedures and quality standards
Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
- 3+ years in testing or validation within R&D or product development
- Hands-on experience with thermal, electrical, and mechanical test equipment
- Proficiency in data analysis with MATLAB or LabVIEW preferred
- Strong ability to identify failure modes and design flaws
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with environmental chambers, vibration testers, or electrical test equipment
- Familiarity with UL, CE, or ISO standards
- Six Sigma or ASQ certification
