R&D Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform cleanroom operations within the field of microfabrication
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, cleanliness, and traceability requirements
• Operate process equipment according to defined instructions and recipes
• Prepare and handle semiconductor components, consumables, and tools required for testing
• Execute microfabrication steps including cleaning, deposition, photolithography, etching, or other available processes
• Maintain detailed tracking documentation and enter data into IT tools to ensure full traceability
• Perform first-level maintenance and uphold cleanroom cleanliness standards

Requirements

• CFC in laboratory work, polymechanics, automation, electronics, or technology (or equivalent)
• Experience in a cleanroom, microfabrication, semiconductor environment, or high-tech industrial setting
• Knowledge of cleanroom working rules, contamination control, and safety requirements
• Understanding of microfabrication processes such as thin film deposition, photolithography, or etching
• Interest in demanding technological environments and R&D activities

Preferred Qualifications

• ES Technician diploma in microtechniques, industrial systems, processes, or related fields
• HES training in microtechniques, materials, chemistry, applied physics, or similar disciplines
