R&D Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate lab equipment to perform critical tests on materials, components, assemblies, and products
• Accurately record and report test data with basic analyses
• Assemble and inspect prototypes
• Assist in the design and fabrication of custom fixtures for measurement and testing
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized laboratory environment
• Manage inventory of lab tools and supplies
• Coordinate shipping and receiving of lab materials and test products
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support product development

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or certification in a relevant technical field (e.g., Mechanical Technology) or equivalent practical experience
• Experience in a laboratory or R&D setting
• Proficiency in operating lab equipment for component or product testing
• Familiarity with measurement and inspection equipment and tools
• Strong computer skills for equipment operation
• Mechanical aptitude
• Exceptional attention to detail
