R&D Suzhou Site Leader & R&D Hardware Global Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead the global Hardware R&D organization and serve as the R&D Site Leader for Suzhou, China
• Drive the evolution of global hardware architecture and stay ahead of new technology trends
• Manage daily operations for the Suzhou R&D site, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations
• Build and mentor high-performing technical teams across Mechanical, Electrical, Optical, Fluidics, and Firmware engineering
• Develop and execute business objectives aligned with Beckman Coulter Life Sciences' global strategy
• Partner with global supply chain, marketing, and senior leadership to align product structures with market needs
• Foster a culture of engagement and collaboration through Gemba leadership and cross-functional partnership

Requirements

• Advanced degree in an Engineering field
• 15+ years of experience in R&D product development
• Proven track record of building and leading large, cross-functional technical teams
• Deep technical expertise in mechanical design, electronics architecture, signal integrity, optics design, and thermal modeling
• Strong ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced, global environment
• Excellent leadership and communication skills for interacting with global and local executive teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within FDA-regulated industries
• Background in diagnostics, medical devices, life sciences, or biotechnology
