R&D Software Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for data ingestion, processing, storage, and UI components
• Validate firmware functionality including communication protocols and data integrity
• Perform system-level testing to validate data flows and integration scenarios in production environments
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test reports based on product requirements
• Ensure regression and non-functional testing (performance, scalability, security) before releases
• Setup and maintain test environments
• Collaborate in interdisciplinary, global development project teams
• Support internal and external customers
• Contribute to the development of Digital Product strategy

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar
• 5 years of experience in Software/Firmware testing with automation exposure
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
• Experience in AI/ML testing environments
• Knowledge of API testing tools and test automation frameworks
• Familiarity with firmware testing and communication protocols (Serial, USB, Ethernet)
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Experience with Agile development methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Exposure to .NET mocking frameworks like Moq, NSubstitute, or FakeItEasy
• Familiarity with collaboration tools like Confluence and JIRA
