R&D Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain complex software components for VNA based RF measurement systems
• Develop software to control and interface with RF instrumentation, measurement hardware, and embedded systems
• Implement algorithms for RF measurements, signal processing, calibration, and data analysis
• Work on system-level software integrating RF frontend hardware, firmware, and user applications
• Debug and resolve complex issues involving software and hardware interactions
• Document software designs, architectures, and algorithms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transition designs into production

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering
• 6+ years of R&D experience in product or system level software development
• Proficiency in C++ and object-oriented design
• Experience with hardware–software integration in test and measurement systems
• Solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms
• Knowledge of RF and electronics concepts
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Vector Network Analyzers (VNA) or RF/microwave instruments
• Background in S-parameters, calibration techniques, and error correction
• Experience with MFC for Windows application development
• Familiarity with Visual Studio, Git, Jira, and Confluence
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum processes
• Experience with instrument control or measurement automation
