R&D Scientist

Responsibilities

• Lead R&D projects for the development of new and innovative catalysts
• Prepare and test catalysts across various scales, from laboratory to pilot plant
• Support recipe scale-up and the transfer of products from R&D to production
• Lead a team of laboratory assistants and technicians, including defining tasks and setting priorities
• Provide technical support to production and sales teams
• Ensure thorough documentation of results and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders
• Cooperate with interdisciplinary global teams, engineering partners, and academic institutions

Requirements

• PhD in Technical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or an equivalent field
• Profound knowledge in heterogeneous catalysis, catalyst preparation, and performance testing
• Experience in the characterization of solid catalysts using various methods
• Ability to evaluate performance data obtained from different test reactors
• Strong organizational skills and a structured approach to research
• Fluency in English; proficiency in German is an advantage
