R&D Quality Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead Quality and Compliance activities for new product projects from initial concept through development and transfer from R&D to manufacturing sites.
• Act as the single point of contact and Quality liaison for assigned projects, ensuring all functional Quality support is provided.
• Review and approve critical project documentation, including product specifications, batch documentation, test methods, and analytical validation reports.
• Oversee Change Control, Deviations, and CAPAs for assigned R&D projects.
• Support clinical supplies activities by providing formal approval and release for clinical supplies, registration samples, and consumer test supplies.
• Partner with R&D and Quality Supply Chain (QSC) to detect potential issues early and ensure product reliability, manufacturability, and compliance.
• Integrate customer and consumer insights into New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and perform Hypercare following product launches.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Science, or an Engineering discipline (or equivalent hands-on experience in GMP).
• 5 years of Manufacturing or Quality experience within the Pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven experience working with Quality Systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Drug Regulatory Affairs, Technical Operations, or Drug Development within a GMP environment.
