R&D Internship in Cheese & Dairy Department

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct experiments at both laboratory and pilot scales
• Perform sample analysis, including chemical, physical, and sensory testing
• Interpret experimental results and prepare technical reports and presentations to support project decisions
• Ensure technical precision and adherence to established working methods and safety guidelines
• Collaborate with technical experts to learn R&D project management fundamentals
• Support the development of measurement techniques and laboratory/pilot plant equipment

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Food Technology, Food Science, Dairy Technology, Process Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field
• Basic experience working with food processing equipment in production or pilot plant environments
• Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken)
• Strong interest in process engineering and data processing
• Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy
• Knowledge of dairy processing, separation processes, or edible proteins is a plus
