Responsibilities

• Work on non-clinical research projects
• Support implantation documentation
• Assist with surgical supply preparation
• Perform histology staining, imaging, and analysis

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program (at least two years completed)
• Ability to work at least 15 hours per week in the lab/office (Monday-Thursday, 8-5pm EST)
• Experience using a microscope and basic lab equipment
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and Excel
• Ability to independently follow protocols and instructions
• Must pass a drug screening

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Biomedical Engineering
• Knowledge of immunohistochemistry and histology microtomy
• Experience with image analysis or ImageJ software
• Understanding of biomaterials fabrication, biomechanical testing, and aseptic technique
