R&D Group Lead – Automotive Color Software Development

Responsibilities

• Lead a global development team designing custom software solutions for automotive color laboratories, including color matching, quality control, and color data management.
• Drive innovation and business value by improving speed to color and enhancing color quality through automation and advanced technologies such as AI and machine learning.
• Define the strategic roadmap for color software and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Manage complex global projects across cross-functional teams including R&D, IT, and operations.
• Ensure high-quality system delivery, promote best practices, and continuously optimize processes across the automotive color value chain.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, STEM, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software development and team leadership.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum and tools like JIRA.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of color science and color matching technologies.
