Responsibilities

  • Spin up quick firmware builds to unlock real-world testing and iterate based on findings
  • Develop and ship clean, production-ready code to a fleet of over 750,000 collars
  • Conduct field testing in paddocks and R&D farms to validate solutions
  • Analyze backend services and data to implement end-to-end solutions
  • Collaborate with firmware, hardware, software, and data teams to develop new capabilities
  • Observe animal behavior to understand challenges and validate technical solutions

Requirements

  • Proficiency in modern C++ for elegant and performant code
  • Experience developing software for resource-constrained environments
  • Ability to think from first principles to solve complex problems
  • High tolerance for ambiguity and a bias for action
  • Willingness and excitement to spend significant time working on farms and in paddocks
  • Ability to work across the stack, including backend and data analysis
