R&D Engineering Intern

Responsibilities

• Support the Cell Product team in evolving technologies into production product lines
• Apply engineering and industry concepts to solve real-world challenges
• Collaborate with mentors and supervisors through frequent 1:1s
• Participate in tech talks and professional networking events

Requirements

• Enrolled in a bachelor's, master's, or doctorate program in engineering, physics, or math
• At least one semester of school remaining post-internship
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab, or personal projects)
• Ability to work full-time on-site for at least 12 consecutive weeks starting August or September 2026

Preferred Qualifications

• GPA of 3.5 or above
• 6+ months of applied engineering experience
• Proficiency in Python and Excel
• Hands-on prototyping experience (soldering, wire splicing, laser cutting, etc.)
• Experience with robotic arms or AI tools
• Knowledge of Ohm’s Law, solar cell behavior, heat transfer, or semiconductor physics
