About the role
Responsibilities
- Define product vision and strategy for robotics and embedded systems
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities
- Oversee the full product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch support
- Design and architect embedded and software components for underwater ROVs and AUVs
- Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and marketing
- Perform field evaluations and iterative improvements to reach TRL9 readiness
- Utilize data analysis and KPIs to guide continuous product improvement
Requirements
- Proven experience in product management within Robotics or Electronic Hardware industries
- Experience leading R&D teams of at least 10+ members
- Expertise in robotics and embedded systems
- Experience managing complex systems with 100+ components and 10+ subsystems
- Proficiency in C, C++, and Python
- Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System)
- Ability to travel to the field for product performance evaluation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with defense-grade system development
- Background in Marine or Subsea electromechanical systems
- Experience in hardware design and electronic hardware certifications
- Familiarity with project management tools like Zoho Projects
- Prior experience working in startup environments
