R&D Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end PCA design activities, including schematic design, layout review, and design implementation support
• Ensure high-quality design practices across analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits
• Apply expertise in signal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI), EMC/EMI, and thermal design considerations
• Perform component selection, footprint definition, and design rule compliance
• Support PCB stack-up definition and layout optimization in collaboration with layout engineers
• Participate in design reviews to ensure design intent is properly translated into layout
• Support design validation, electrical issue debugging, failure analysis, and root cause investigation
• Contribute to DfX efforts, including Design for Reliability, Manufacturability, and Testability
• Work closely with manufacturing and test teams to resolve build and yield issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in EE design or PCA/PCB-related engineering roles
• Proven experience participating in product development cycles from design to production
• Strong knowledge of signal integrity and EMC/EMI compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with Cadence PCA Layout
• Experience with hardware debugging using oscilloscopes and other lab equipment
• Programming skills in C++ or Python
