R&D Chemist

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance water treatment chemicals such as antiscalants, dispersants, coagulants, and corrosion inhibitors
• Conduct laboratory experiments to improve product performance and reduce costs
• Design new formulations according to customer needs and market requirements
• Perform laboratory tests on raw materials and finished products
• Analyze chemical and physical properties to ensure compliance with specifications
• Work closely with the production team to apply new or modified formulations
• Provide technical assistance to the sales team and customers
• Follow ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements
• Maintain organized and detailed R&D records and formulation data

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry
• Minimum 3 years of experience in water treatment chemicals or related chemical industries
• Good knowledge of water treatment processes (cooling towers, boilers, wastewater)
• Familiarity with laboratory instruments and analytical techniques
• Good command of English (spoken and written)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and lab data systems
