R&D Chemist

Responsibilities

• Prepare and evaluate filler formulations within the Wellingborough Technology Team
• Accurately run and record test results for all formulations
• Interpret testing data and communicate findings to the Manager using Microsoft Office Suite
• Document experimental test results using Word, Excel, and SharePoint
• Support and communicate effectively with Technicians, Chemists, and Technical Demonstrators
• Safely handle, categorize, and dispose of chemicals on a routine basis
• Participate in 5S initiatives to improve laboratory productivity and safety
• Adhere to all workplace safety requirements and SOPs

Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry preferred
• Knowledge of chemistry and/or coating formulation
• Laboratory experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint)
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, Test Methods, and SOPs
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects under strict time constraints

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working in team environments
