RCM Strategy & Operations Manager

About the Company

Duet empowers Nurse Practitioners (NPs) to tackle the primary care crisis by leading their own practices, closing the gap in access while keeping care local. We’re a well-funded seed-stage company backed by investors like Lerer Hippeau and Kairos.

Responsibilities

• Track key health indicators including denial rates, A/R aging, and collections trends
• Investigate and resolve billing issues across the full claim lifecycle
• Communicate proactively with practices via email and video to translate complex billing data
• Provide guidance to practice staff on payer requirements and documentation standards
• Coordinate with billing partners and internal RCM teams to close the loop on outstanding items
• Contribute to building RCM playbooks, workflows, and templates to help scale operations

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in RCM consulting, billing operations, or client-facing healthcare revenue roles
• Deep fluency in charge capture, claim submission, payment posting, denial management, and A/R resolution
• Ability to diagnose RCM performance issues from denial reports or aging buckets
• Experience advising practice staff on payer requirements and coding accuracy
• Comfort navigating multiple EMR and practice management platforms
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for translating complex data into plain English
• Highly organized and proactive approach to managing a portfolio of practices
