RC Driller

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling rigs in accordance with site procedures and regulatory requirements
• Conduct thorough pre-start inspections of drill rigs, compressors, boosters, rods, hammers, and support equipment
• Perform routine servicing, lubrication, and basic mechanical troubleshooting
• Accurately collar holes and maintain correct drilling angles, depths, and alignment
• Monitor and adjust drilling parameters to optimize productivity and sample quality
• Ensure correct sample return, contamination control, and proper setup of cyclones and splitters
• Maintain accurate drill logs, meters drilled, and daily production reports
• Identify ground conditions and communicate changes to geologists and supervisors
• Enforce safe work practices and ensure compliance with all HSE requirements
• Maintain site housekeeping standards around the drill pad and equipment

Requirements

• Proven experience as an RC Driller in mining or exploration
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of RC drilling techniques
• Commitment to safety and ability to work extended shifts in remote environments
• Physically fit and capable of working in varying weather conditions
