Raw material/MRO Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities

• Source new vendors and manage the complete bidding process from a total cost of ownership perspective
• Prepare and issue purchase orders, agreements, and Requests for Quotation (RFQ)
• Conduct Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE) and Commercial Bid Evaluations (CBE) with detailed price analysis
• Manage shipping documents (BL/IV/PL) and oversee partner payments
• Track supplier production schedules and expedite orders to align with facility requirements
• Procure MRO materials, maintain stock levels, and manage receipt, shipment, and settlement
• Negotiate vendor contracts to ensure favorable terms and pricing
• Resolve discrepancies, invoice problems, and supply chain challenges
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain accurate inventory and procurement records

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• 3+ years of experience in raw material procurement
• Proficiency in international trade regulations and handling chemical substance imports/exports
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills regarding raw and MRO materials
• Working knowledge and understanding of an ERP system

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Battery, Battery Materials, or Chemical industry
• SAP experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
• Experience working within a global company environment
