Raw Material Specialist

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute raw material procurement based on MRP results, including sending releases and tracking order confirmations.
• Analyze raw material coverage and reschedule open orders to align with production planning requirements.
• Monitor SAP parameters to ensure orders are released according to supplier scheduling agreements.
• Manage supplier invoices and control in-transit parts using DOH reports.
• Coordinate with forwarders to ensure announced volumes are correctly loaded and reach the original ETA.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels by minimizing overstock and avoiding dead stock.
• Review MRP results regularly to identify and mitigate potential risks of production interruption.
• Take immediate contingency actions to prevent production shortages.
• Manage internal claims for quality or quantity discrepancies and document all evidence.

Requirements

• Bac+5 in Industrial Engineering or an equivalent degree.
• Minimum of 18 months of professional experience in a relevant role.
• Fluency in both French and English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft tools for data processing.
• Strong analytical skills and a spirit of continuous improvement.
• Disciplined, objective-oriented, and possessing excellent communication skills.
