Ratings Associate

Responsibilities

• Support Lead Analysts with credit ratings, research, and market outreach within the project infrastructure finance sector
• Analyze financial documents and data to prepare and run financial models and forecasts
• Draft rating committee memos and support the publication of credit research reports
• Monitor market developments and industry trends to assess credit quality
• Leverage digital tools and Generative AI to enhance analytical capabilities and workflow efficiency
• Attend investor and issuer meetings and assist in preparing presentations

Requirements

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in the financial sector, audit, or consulting
• Strong accounting knowledge and financial analysis skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated familiarity with Generative AI tools (e.g., LLMs like ChatGPT)
• Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically in infrastructure or project finance
• Professional certifications such as CFA or CPA
• Postgraduate qualifications (Master's or MBA)
• Knowledge of other Asian languages
